Local Supply & Installation

Supplied and fitted. Locally.

Cork flooring supplied and installed by a local team across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Surrey and London. One point of contact from first sample to finished floor.

Supply and fit

The floor and the fitting come from the same place.

Buy the cork from one company and have it fitted by another, and the problems fall in the gap between them. We supply the floor and install it ourselves, locally. One team, one point of contact, one standard from first sample to finished floor.

Supply

Local supply

Cork floors supplied and delivered locally, so samples reach you quickly and materials are on hand when the project is ready to begin.

Installation

5 Year guarantee

Fitted by Natrul approved local installers and backed by a five year workmanship guarantee. The floor supplied is the floor properly laid.

One contact

One point of contact

Supply and installation handled by the same team. Nothing falls between a separate supplier and fitter. One person answers from quote to completion.

Local supply

The floor, supplied locally.

Every Natrul floor is manufactured by Granorte in Portugal and held ready for local supply. Samples reach you quickly, and when the project is ready the material is on hand, not on a long lead time from elsewhere.

Order the cork on its own for your own fitter, or have us supply and install it as one job. Either way the floor is delivered locally across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Surrey and London.

One supplier for the floor and the fitting. Nothing lost in between.

Local installation

Fitted by a local team.

The installers we work with have carried out projects across some of the most demanding venues in the region. Heritage buildings, hotels and private homes where the standard expected is non-negotiable.

That same standard comes to every local project we take on, whether it is a single room in a private home or a full fit-out. Careful subfloor preparation, the right method for the product, and a finish that holds.

Before installation day

What the room needs to be ready.

  • Acclimatisation Cork needs a minimum of 2 days in the room before fitting, at 18 to 26°C and 35 to 65% relative humidity.
  • Subfloor moisture Below 2.0% CM (1.5% with underfloor heating). New concrete needs a minimum of 60 days to dry before flooring goes down.
  • Expansion gap A 10 to 15mm gap is left at the perimeter of every floating floor to allow for natural movement.
  • Underfloor heating Run for 3 to 4 days before installation at around 18°C, then returned to normal operation gradually, no earlier than 3 days after fitting.
