Interior floors in hotels, studios, offices and shops. Class 33, commercial heavy under EN ISO 10874 describes the level of traffic the floor is classified for. It does not on its own approve the floor for every location: check the requirements for corridors, escape routes and other controlled areas with your specifier. Bathrooms and wet rooms are excluded from the manufacturer’s warranty.
Glued with a suitable contact adhesive applied to both the tile backing and the subfloor. The subfloor must be flat, dry and sound. Follow the Granorte laying instructions for cork floor tiles.
Vacuum or dry sweep to remove grit. Damp mop with a well-wrung mop and a pH-neutral cleaner, and wipe up spills promptly, particularly at tile edges. Avoid bleach, solvents and abrasive cleaners. The full routine is in the Granorte care guide.
